Karen
We live in Bellingham, Wa. I have been looking for a copy of your Cooking Gluten Free Books either in paperback or in hard back. We just missed you at your book signing today (Saturday 21st). We went to the Farmers market lookings for you then found out that you were at the public market. We we got to the market we were told that you had just left.
Because my eyes do not always focus the way they should I would have trouble ordering the other format.
Someone at the desk had a copy of your card is how I found your name and how to contact you.
Thank you for your help.
Carolyn Wyandt
Is there any chance that you will be publishing a hardcopy of the recipe book again? My sister has one and it is so beautiful and usable, I love the recipes and the information, but would love to have the bound copy if at all possible.
Katy,
I wish that I could reprint but the printing and shipping is too expensive for today’s world of cookbooks.
I developed the digital book so the recipes would still be available at an affordable price.
Karen
Carolyn,
I am sorry to have missed you too–I also thought it was at the Farmers Market.
If you are able to have a friend print pages of recipes for you from the digital book then you will have recipes pages the same size as the book pages and the same size typeface.
Karen
Karen,
My son has a severe egg allergy and I believe that I saw a suggested egg substitute for baking in some of your materials. I just can’t seem to find it now. Do you know of a good egg substitute for baking egg-free?
Thank you,
Katy
Yes for one egg use 1 tablespoon of finely ground flax seed whisked into 3 tablespoon hot water.
Karen,
I would love to get your book but unfortunately I don’t do any dealings over the net. Is there any way I could just send a check?
Karen, Is the book still in print and available to buy, I love your book,
I have some friends who want the book not the cd. and don’t have a
computer. Thanks, Love You, Aunt Judy
Aunt Judy,
Unfortunately due to high printing and shipping costs the printed book is now only available in a digital format.
Each page of the digital book can be printed on any computer—so if your friend has a friend with a computer they can print their favorite recipes and slip them into plastic sheet protectors then into a notebook.
I wish I had a better answer but the industry has changed so much –this was the best way to keep the recipes available to help those on a gluten free diet.
Love Karen
Hi Karen,
I’d like to buy the book but I live in Spain. As it’s a pdf file, any chance you can email it to me if I buy it, instead of sending a cd room ? (I don’t have a paypal account).
Thanks,
Anna
Hi Karen,
I would love to participate in the gluten free ratio rally and truly appreciate your help to know where I could find the guidelines to participate. I recently found out I have gluten intolerance and would love to explore the world of gluten free foods.
Thank you so much for your time and appreciate your help.
Best,
Sihi
Hello Karen,
Is there any way to get the digital version of your book on an iPad? I know the iPad can read PDFs but it doesn’t have a CD drive. I’d love to buy the book for my mother but she only has an iPad. I have a laptop with a CD drive that I could use to get the PDFs on her iPad, if that would help…
Thank you!
Samantha,
Yes I have successfully sent the recipes to my iPad via email and use them all the time. You have an option to open the file in iBooks.
Karen
Hi Karen,
Please let me know if you will mail your recipe book to Australia. I left message last time and i guess you did not get it!
Hoping to get a reply from you.
Regards,
Gerard
Gerard,
I apologize but I am not set up to ship outside of the US and Canada.
