Last Magnolia Market of the Season–Support Your Local Farmers Market

by Karen on September 27th, 2013

Update: March 2014–Mama Ks GF Bakery is on hiatus

It’s the last farmers market of the season for Magnoila!

Don’t let a few raindrops get in the way of a great send off to this group of very hardworking people–help to make this a successful market for the vendors so that Magnolia is on their list for next year.  Without these dedicated farmers, cooks, and bakers we wouldn’t have this treasured market in our neighborhood.  If we give them a big successful “end to the season” they are more likely to make Magnolia a part of their plan next year.

I will rearrange my booth so that you can come inside to shop and/or get out of the rain for a few minutes, please feel free to seek shelter and visit for a minute.  But most of all, put the market on your list of things to do Saturday between 10am and 2pm and let the vendors know how much you appreciate them even if you have to brave the rain.  Thank You!!

(for visitors to our neighborhood we are in 98199 at McGraw and 33rd Ave. W. and there is plenty of easy parking)

If you want farm fresh produce, meat and eggs yearround consider Farmstr.  My wonderful friend, Janelle has organized this site for farmers to connect with you directly.  Distribution is key for farmers and this is an easy pathway for you to connect.

Lots to Sample This Week!

Here is my line up of sampling opportunities for Saturday, all of the breads freeze very well:

Orange, Hazelnut Zuchinni Bread, gluten free
